“Why madeleines?”

Those are probably the two questions I get asked most.

When I started Sasha’s Sneaky Sweets, I knew I didn’t want to be just another cookie business. I kept asking myself: What problem am I actually trying to solve?

Being a therapist by day has taught me something funny—if one person experiences something, chances are there are plenty of others who do too. That’s part of being human.

For me, the problem was simple.

I’m not a big breakfast person, and most mornings I’m rushing out the door. But I LOVE a good cup of coffee. The only problem? Coffee on an empty stomach and I’m suddenly questioning every life decision—jittery, heart racing, the whole thing. 🐎🏎️💨

So I went looking for something simple and stumbled across madeleines.

They were the perfect pairing. Light, versatile, and just enough to make my morning coffee enjoyable again.

That’s what inspired Sasha’s Sneaky Sweets.

I spent countless batches perfecting a batter that allows for creativity, seasonal flavors, and most importantly, customization—because everyone’s tastes, routines, and dietary needs are different.

And somehow, a little French tea cake became my favorite way to slow down for a moment in the middle of busy days.

Now as for my favorite flavor…
